I have an 07 Silverado Z71 That has about 170,000 miles on it. Since around 80,000 miles every once an a while if I come to a stop somewhere and start to go the transmission will not shift out of first. I have to pull over on the side of the road put the truck in park, put it back in drive and I am good to go. It only happens maybe once or twice a month. I took it to the dealer before the 100,000 warranty was up, but of course they could not get it to do it. Has anyone else had this problem or know what it might be?

 

My Silverado 2007 does not return the shift soft. it trembles when it slows down.
